Come “Chill-A-While” at our Chili Cook Off!

Who says your chili is the best in town??

Let’s prove it at the Chill-A-While Chili Cook Off!

Event Details: October 9th, 2022 4pm - 7pm at the Vale Royal Barn in Fenton

Bring your favorite recipe piping hot, ready to share. We’ll serve it up with delicious cornbread, donated by Beale St BBQ! Let your neighbors and friends be the judge. The taster’s palates will choose the winner.

Cider and donuts from Spicer’s Orchard will be available to enjoy as you sit by a bonfire, listen to live music, or just relax taking in the fresh country air with good company. We’re looking forward to seeing you there.

Tickets must be purchased in advance from members of the Tyrone Township Historical Society or by emailing us at TyroneHistory@gmail.com.

$20 per person $10 kids 12 and under Ages 3 and under FREE!

Chili Chef Registration

Bring 5-8 quarts of chili per participant, larger batches for refills welcome!

Please register by emailing Beth at TyroneHistory@gmail.com

We will need to know the following information:
* Name of Chili

* Spicy or not

* Your contact information

* How much chili you plan to bring

A tip sheet for transportation, heating, and serving details will be provided upon registration.

With fall just around the corner, pick out the perfect pumpkin and get it all dressed up for the season! The Tyrone Township Historical Society is holding a contest for the best decorated pumpkin, to be judged by our guests at the Chill-A-While Chili Cook Off. Fun prizes for each category winner!
